Clementine Lemons & The Lost Stones of Dohi: The Water Stone.
A world on the brink of collapse.
A chest hiding a secret salvation.
An ordinary girl with the key to unlock it all.
Clementine Lemons is not lacking average teenage problems: her mother is overbearing, her brother is insufferable, her peers are predictably cruel and her social life is a nonstarter. The only escape Clementine has is her books and the imagination to take her to far off lands. When a chance encounter at an antique shop brings an old, ornate chest into her possession, Clementine has no idea just how real those far away dreamscapes are about to become.
In a parallel dimension, Andro labours under the dictatorial rule of the Black Peacock in the Empire of Dohi. With skies choked with soot, alleys overrun with toxic waste and the paranoid Regime ever on the lookout for spies and traitors, Andro has little to look forward to from day to day. The only spark of magic in his life is an old chest, passed down through many generations and said to grant mysterious gifts—though that is a thing of the past, if it was ever true at all.
Connected by the shared interdimensional space of the chest, Clementine and Andro soon discover they can communicate with each other across worlds. More than that, the locked drawers of the chest hold the key to saving the Empire of Dohi—if only they can be opened—and if no further surprises meet them from within.
A spellbinding adventure, The Earth Stone is the first book in an epic series featuring a modern take on hidden world fantasy with a dark, dystopian twist.
